The iTHX transmitter let’s you monitor and record Temperature, Relative Humidity and Dew Point over an Ethernet network or the Internet. The iTHX serves Active Web Pages to display real time readings, display charts of temperature and humidity, or log data in standard data formats for use in a spreadsheet or data acquisition program. Display and Chart Two Channels The iTHX transmitters come complete with a temperature and humidity probe for measurement of a single location. With the addition of a second probe, the iTHX transmitter can measure and display humidity, temperature and dew point in a second location up to twenty feet away. The transmitter can display and chart absolute measurements in both locations, or a differential measurement between the two locations. The second probe requires no change to the basic iTHX transmitter hardware, firmware or software. A second probe can be added at the time of purchase or in the future. CTS offers a choice of industrial probes in 2" and 5" lengths, and a wand style for ambient indoor applications. A simple DB-9 "Y" connector is available for adding a second probe.

-The iTHX-M features two 1.5 Amp relays. With the easy Web-based setup page, the two relays can be programmed for any combination of temperature or humidity, and high or low set points. The relays can also be programmed to remain latched and require a manual reset if a limit is exceeded.

-The iTHX-M comes with an ac adapter. A standard 9 Volt Alkaline battery (also included) allows the device to log data for up to 10 days without external ac power. In locations without power or network accessibility, the iTHX-M continues logging data to its flash memory. The stored data can later be downloaded over the Ethernet.

The iTCX transmitters can take Thermocouple Types J, K, T, E, R, S, B, C, N, and L measuring temperatures up to 1,820°C (3,308°F). The iTCX can display and chart absolute measurements in two locations and a differential measurement between the two locations.

Environmental Surveillance over the Internet

Web-based Remote Surveillance of Temperature + Humidity and Security
The iSE environmental monitor provides Web-based remote surveillance of environmental conditions in critical HVAC applications such as computer server rooms, clean rooms, laboratories, museums, warehouses, or any remote facility. View and record Temperature, Relative Humidity and Dew Point over an Ethernet network or the Internet with no special software—just a Web browser.

The iSE includes screw terminals for two contact closures that work with common alarm sensors. You can instruct the iSE monitor to send an alarm if a door is opened, a window is broken, or a fire sprinkler goes off.

The iSE monitor can trigger an alarm if the AC power fails. The iSE monitor will continue to collect data for ten days powered by a standard 9 Volt alkaline battery (included). The data is stored in nonvolatile flash memory and can later be downloaded over the Ethernet.

The iSE monitor includes two 1.5 Amp output relays that are controlled by the alarm conditions you select. The relays can trigger flashing lights and a siren for example to alert personnel near the scene.

Wireless Sensor System

The new zSeries wireless sensor system provides Web-based monitoring of Temperature, Humidity, and Barometric Pressure in critical HVAC and Refrigeration applications. The compact wireless “End Devices” mount discretely on the wall in clean rooms, laboratories, museums, computer server rooms, warehouses, and any remote facility. The wireless End Devices are powered by two AA 1.5 volt alkaline batteries. The End Devices transmit up to 300 feet (without obstructions or interferences) to a “Coordinator” connected directly to an Ethernet network and the Internet. The wireless system complies with IEEE 802.15.4 operating at 2.4GHz which is hospital approved.

CTS offers a selection of End Devices for a variety of applications. Each End Device supports one or two sensors. End Devices are available with built-in sensors, with external sensor probes, and with both built-in and external sensors. The external sensors are designed for harsh environments such as outdoor weather, in HVAC ducts, in freezers and refrigerators. For example, you can select one End Device that has one internal and one external sensor to monitor temperature and humidity both inside and outside a climate-controlled facility. Each Coordinator can directly support up to thirty-two (32) End Devices.

The wireless Coordinators include AC adapters to operate on any voltage worldwide from 100-240 Vac and 50-60Hz. The zSeries Coordinator connects directly to an Ethernet Network or the Internet. Unlike an RS232 or USB device, it does not require a host computer. The zSeries Coordinator is an independent node on the network sending and receiving data in standard TCP/IP packets. It is easily configured from a Web Browser and can be password protected. From within an Ethernet LAN or over the Internet, the user simply types the IP address (such as 192.168.1.200) or an easy to remember name (such as "Warehouse 5" or "Chicago Lab") and the Coordinator serves a Web Page with the current readings. The virtual chart viewed on the web page is a JAVA™ Applet that records a chart over the LAN or Internet in real time.

Microprocessor Based Portable Universal Circular Chart SUPERECORDER

Retaining the legendary CT-485 design, the CTXL Series comprises state-of-the-art circular chart recorders, available in 3 models— CTXL-TRH, CTXL-DTC, and CTXL-DPR.

The CTXL-TRH is a temperature/ relative humidity chart recorder with a temperature range of -17 to 49ºC (2 to 120ºF) and a humidity range of 2 to 98%. The CTXL-DTC is a dual thermocouple input chart recorder that accepts J, K, or T type thermocouple probes. The CTXL-DPR is a dual-process input chart recorder that accepts 0 to 1 Vdc, 0 to 5 Vdc, 0 to 10 Vdc, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to 20 mA inputs.

All models have dual-display backlit LCDs that show 2 inputs in real time. The charted data is stored in non-volatile memory and can be downloaded to a PC for printout. Functions include audiovisual alarms with built-in relay contacts; real-time clock; monitoring of the minimum, maximum, and average values; 1-, 7-, or 32-day recording; and chart rescaling.

With a combination of powerful features, the portable and rugged OS530E Series infrared thermometers offer solutions for many non-contact temperature measurement applications. Emissivity adjustable in 0.01 increments, the OS530E series provides versatility when measuring a variety of surfaces.

A custom backlit LCD display provides dual digital display of both current and max, min, diff or average temperatures simultaneously. This provides the user with more information at a glance. Built-in laser sighting creates a 12-point circle which clearly indicates the target area being measured.

The OS530E also features a high alarm setpoint, providing both audible and visual indication of the alarm status. The standard 1 mV per degree analog output allows interfacing with data acquisition equipment, including chart recorders, dataloggers and computers.
